Alongside Lorenzo Lucca
AC Milan Ready to Sign German National Team Striker
Reports suggest that AC Milan is prepared to spend a significant amount in the summer transfer window to sign a new center-forward.
According to “Varzesh3,” a striker to compete with Santiago Giménez and two other players are among Rossoneri’s preferred targets.
The upcoming summer could bring significant changes for AC Milan. The club plans to appoint a new sporting director, a new head coach, and recruit fresh talent to strengthen the squad.
Despite spending around €35 million (including bonuses) in January to sign Santiago Giménez from Feyenoord, Calciomercato reports that the Rossoneri may invest another €30 million to sign a new center-forward this summer.
Given the possible departure of Luka Jović and uncertainty over Tammy Abraham’s future, Milan seeks to create competition and depth for Giménez, especially after his recent goal drought and mounting pressure.
Reports indicate that AC Milan is among the clubs interested in signing Lorenzo Lucca, the Italian national team striker from Udinese, whose name has recently been linked with Napoli and Inter.
According to Calciomercato, another Bundesliga option exists: Jonathan Burkardt, the German national team striker from Mainz, who is also on Milan’s radar and is expected to be available for a similar fee in the summer.
