According to reports, Mohamed Al-Deayea, the former legend of Al-Hilal, launched sharp criticism at Al-Nassr after their 2-1 defeat against Al-Qadsiah in the 28th week of the Saudi Pro League.

He said in a TV interview: “When we look at Al-Nassr’s squad and the money spent on them, this team cannot be compared to any other club. A team with this level of investment should compete for titles in all competitions.”

Al-Deayea added: “Al-Nassr has not won any domestic title in five years; this raises questions. Teams that have invested have achieved results; Al-Ittihad is at the top, Al-Hilal is in second place and won three trophies last season, but Al-Nassr has no achievements.”

He also commented on the performance of Al-Nassr’s Colombian striker Juan Cuadrado: “Cuadrado is a professional player. When he joined Al-Nassr, he performed very well, but now he reminds me of Ahmed Musa. He misses simple chances that even a young player wouldn’t miss, and he wasted a clear goal-scoring opportunity.”

With this defeat, Al-Qadsiah ended Al-Nassr’s three-match winning streak in the league against Al-Khaleej, Al-Hilal, and Al-Riyadh. Al-Nassr remained in third place with 57 points, falling behind in the title race against Al-Hilal (61 points) and Al-Ittihad (65 points).

Meanwhile, Al-Qadsiah reached 55 points with this win and stood in fifth place; they are tied with Al-Ahli but are placed lower due to goal difference.
