Al-Riyadh Parts Ways with Sabri Lamouchi
Al-Riyadh Club has finally decided to terminate its cooperation with Sabri Lamouchi and has handed over the team’s management to Bandar Al-Kubaishan.
According to reports, the former Inter Milan midfielder, who is a well-known figure in Asian football, took charge of Al-Riyadh this season as the third team in the Saudi capital aiming to compete in the Roshn Saudi League. However, poor results led to his dismissal.
Informed sources revealed Al-Riyadh’s decision to sack Sabri Lamouchi due to disappointing performances in the Saudi Professional League.
Al-Riyadh has secured only one victory in the last ten weeks, and despite respectable performances against top teams like Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr, and Al-Hilal, the results did not satisfy the club’s management.
According to these sources, Lamouchi’s dismissal will be officially announced after completing the legal procedures of the contract between the two parties. It has also been confirmed that Bandar Al-Kubaishan, a former Saudi national team player, will take over as interim coach until the end of the season.
