Barcelona Legend and Rafael Nadal’s Uncle:
Pedri is Spain’s Best Player, Not Lamine Yamal!
Former Barcelona star Miguel Ángel Nadal claims Pedri is currently Spain’s best player, even better than Lamine Yamal—a footballer in the class of Xavi and Iniesta.
According to reports, Miguel Ángel Nadal is a well-known figure in Spanish football for two reasons. He played for Barcelona for many years and is considered a club legend, and he is also the uncle of tennis icon Rafael Nadal.
Nadal recently made headlines with his praise for Barcelona’s current star Pedri, claiming he is even better than Lamine Yamal. He stated that Pedri is currently Spain’s best player.
The Barcelona legend said: “Pedri is Spain’s best player. He was injured for a while, which made many forget about him, but now he’s back to his best. Pedri has had an exceptional season. For me, he has been Barcelona’s most important player this year. He is a special footballer, an intelligent player, and I would even go further and say he is one of the best players in Spain’s history. If I were to compare Pedri’s quality, he can only be compared to Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets.”
When asked about the emergence of Lamine Yamal, Nadal replied: “Yes, there are very few players like him in the world today. Someone so young with such quality. But we’re talking about a different kind of player, and he still has years to go before reaching Pedri’s level.”
