After Six Goal-Contributing Errors
Bayern Munich Puts Kim Min-jae Up for Sale!
The South Korean defender had a disappointing performance against Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern is now willing to evaluate offers for him in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to reports, following Kim Min-jae’s poor performance in the Der Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund (2-2), Sky Sport Germany has stated that the South Korean defender may leave Bayern Munich.
The source revealed that the Munich club is ready to listen to offers in the summer, although selling the 28-year-old player is not mandatory and is not a priority. If Kim leaves, Bayern has already considered a replacement. Deyovaisio Zeefuik, a Bournemouth player, has caught the attention of the Bundesliga club’s management, but competition for the Dutch-born Spanish player will be tough, as Real Madrid is also closely monitoring him.
Kim joined Munich from Napoli in the summer of 2023 for €50 million, but at Bayern, he has only sporadically replicated the quality he showed in Italy. The South Korean international has made six goal-contributing errors this season, the latest of which occurred in the match against Dortmund.
After the game, Max Eberl, Bayern’s sporting director, criticized Kim’s performance, saying: “It was a mistake. He lost his opponent. Until that moment, he had a good game against Graci, but he knows what mistake he made that led to the goal.”
Six minutes after the opponent’s goal, Vincent Kompany, Bayern’s coach, substituted Kim and sent Portuguese player Raphaël Guerreiro onto the field.
