Michael Reschke:
Bayern Munich Will Be Champions Before the Season Starts by Signing Florian Wirtz
Michael Reschke, former technical director of Bayer Leverkusen, believes that Florian Wirtz’s transfer to Bayern Munich will be detrimental to the Bundesliga.
According to reports, Wirtz remains Bayern Munich’s primary target for the upcoming summer transfer window, and the club is determined to secure his services. They aim to utilize his talent and brilliance in their squad for various competitions next season.
Reschke firmly believes that Wirtz’s move from Bayer Leverkusen to Bayern Munich in the upcoming summer transfer window will guarantee Bayern’s Bundesliga title before the season even begins. He told Sky Sports Germany: “If you sign Wirtz, you will undoubtedly be German champions. It’s like a guarantee. In that case, the question of which team will win the title is answered definitively before the season starts.”
Reschke, who worked for years as a director at Bayer Leverkusen, believes Wirtz’s move to Bayern would harm the Bundesliga. Thus, a potential transfer of this young star from Leverkusen to Munich should be viewed with mixed emotions. He added: “Bayern will have a much, much better chance of winning the UEFA Champions League with this 21-year-old,” and with the quality of Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala in midfield, it will be extraordinary.”
