According to reports, Grealish has struggled to perform consistently this season for Manchester City, leading to speculation about his potential departure from the club.

Hamann believes Grealish’s best position is as a No. 10, and even if he has to compete with Jamal Musiala for playing time, he is the type of player a team should be built around. Grealish has faced challenges under Pep Guardiola this season but is often deployed on the left wing.

Hamann told Goal: “I would love to see Jack Grealish at Bayern Munich. I think he still has unlimited potential. In his four years at Manchester City, he has only had one outstanding season. I feel he is a free spirit both on and off the pitch and needs freedom to thrive.”

“The question at Bayern would be where he plays. In my opinion, he is at his best as a No. 10 behind the striker. Even though he has played mostly on the wings, he was outstanding in that role for England against Ireland.

Bayern currently have Jamal Musiala, but I think Grealish is a player who should be utilized in his best position because he is exceptional. Another question is whether Bayern can afford him, but without a doubt, he would bring flair and creativity to the Bundesliga.”
