Chelsea’s Special Plan to Discover England’s Next Great Goalkeeper!
Chelsea has appointed Ross Turnbull to scout talented goalkeepers aged 13 to 21 for the upcoming season.
According to reports, Robert Sanchez’s inconsistent performances this season have prompted Chelsea to appoint former goalkeeper Ross Turnbull as a talent scout. His role will be to identify promising young goalkeepers for the club.
As per Goal, Chelsea aims to scout goalkeepers aged 13 to 21 across the country to find future stars and integrate them into the senior team next season.
Turnbull will assess potential candidates through video analysis and live youth matches to select the best talents for Chelsea.
This news may not sit well with Sanchez and other current Chelsea goalkeepers, as it suggests the club is looking for a cost-effective solution for their next No. 1.
Sanchez has played 27 Premier League matches this season, conceding 31 goals and keeping only seven clean sheets. He has also received five yellow cards so far.
