Denial of Rumors: Klopp is Happy at Red Bull!
Jürgen Klopp’s agent has denied rumors of his return to coaching and departure from Red Bull.
According to reports, some Spanish media recently claimed that Jürgen Klopp is one of the main candidates to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Some reports even suggested Klopp’s readiness to negotiate with the Madrid club, citing dissatisfaction with his new role at RB Leipzig. Klopp’s name had also been linked with the Brazil national team following the dismissal of Dorival Júnior.
However, Sky Germany has challenged these speculations, stating that while Klopp has received concrete offers from major clubs and football federations in recent months, he has no plans to return to coaching next season—neither at Real Madrid nor with the Brazil national team.
Marc Kosicke, Klopp’s agent, told Sky regarding these rumors: “Jürgen is completely satisfied with his new role as Global Football Director within Red Bull’s structure.”
Klopp joined Red Bull’s management structure at the beginning of the year and is fully committed to his new responsibilities. He has traveled thousands of kilometers in recent weeks to oversee various Red Bull projects worldwide.
Klopp is currently working alongside Oliver Mintzlaff, Mario Gomez, and Marcel Schäfer to evaluate candidates to replace Marco Rose at RB Leipzig. After Rose’s dismissal, Zsolt Löw has taken temporary charge but will not remain in the role permanently. Klopp is directly involved in the selection process.
Zsolt Löw also commented on Klopp’s situation in a press conference ahead of the match against Holstein Kiel: “I think Jürgen made this decision to join Red Bull very consciously. He is genuinely very, very happy with his current role.”
