With the Bundesliga season nearing its end and only four weeks remaining, Bayern Munich seems on the verge of winning the title with an eight-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern could secure the title next week. Matthäus wrote to Sky Sports: “Six months ago, I said Bayern would win the German title with a 10-point lead, and this championship would be fully deserved.”

As the season nears its end, the transfer market is heating up again, and Matthäus has advice for Bayern: “Bayern made a mistake last summer by not signing Jonathan Tah. But maybe he will choose Bayern again this summer. He is the best defender in the Bundesliga.”

Tah announced after the match against St. Pauli that he will definitely leave Leverkusen at the end of the season. Matthäus says: “This is a big loss for Leverkusen, especially since Tah is leaving for free. He was one of the pillars of Leverkusen’s success.”

According to Matthäus, Tah’s move to Bayern would be ideal: “If I were the decision-maker at Bayern, I would want the best, and Tah is one of them. Without a doubt, I would consider him.”

Matthäus’s recommendation reflects his belief in Tah’s abilities and Bayern’s need to strengthen their defense to continue their success in the Bundesliga and European competitions. Meanwhile, Tah is also a target for Barcelona.
