End of a Controversial and Turbulent Season for Marcus Rashford!
Marcus Rashford missed the final weeks of the English Premier League due to a hamstring injury.
According to reports, Marcus Rashford, the 27-year-old star forward of Aston Villa, missed his team’s crucial FA Cup semi-final match against Crystal Palace due to injury and will not be able to rejoin Unai Emery’s squad for the remainder of the season. Thus, the 2024-25 season has officially come to an end for the eventful English striker.
This news was announced by Unai Emery in a press conference following Aston Villa’s 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, where he confirmed Rashford’s severe hamstring injury ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Despite his recent strong performances for Aston Villa, including two goals and two assists in the Premier League and two assists in the UEFA Champions League, Rashford must now prepare for pre-season training.
Although his future remains uncertain, Rashford is expected to return to Manchester United as per his loan agreement, but it is unlikely that Rúben Amorim will continue working with him. However, Aston Villa is reportedly interested in making his move permanent.
