Brazilian Star No Longer Tolerates Bench Role
Endrick Wants to Leave Real Madrid: I Won’t Make It to the World Cup Like This!
Endrick is considering leaving Real Madrid this summer, fearing his lack of playing time will jeopardize his chances of making Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
According to reports, sources close to Real Madrid indicate that Endrick is planning to depart unless the club guarantees him significantly more playing time next season.
The 18-year-old Brazilian is in his debut season with Real Madrid after joining from Palmeiras last summer. Despite being hailed as one of football’s brightest talents, Endrick has only featured in 33 matches across all competitions, with limited minutes. Last night, he made his first La Liga start in Real’s 1-0 win over Getafe.
Endrick has played just 700 minutes under Carlo Ancelotti this season. Reports suggest he has informed the club’s management of his desire to leave on loan this summer. The young star believes that another season on the bench would eliminate his chances of securing a spot in Brazil’s starting lineup for the 2026 World Cup.
Interestingly, Endrick struggled in his first full start of the season, missing two clear chances against Getafe. His performance drew criticism from Ancelotti in the post-match press conference.
