Harry Kane’s goal was quickly answered by Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard, but Eric Dier managed to score again, keeping Bayern Munich’s hopes alive.
The thrilling match between Inter Milan and Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at San Siro was filled with excitement.
After a goalless first half, Bayern’s pressure finally paid off in the 52nd minute when Harry Kane opened the scoring.
The English striker, who had been tightly marked by Inter’s defenders, made the most of his only shot on target, beating Yann Sommer.
In a Bayern attack inside the box, Leon Goretzka passed to Harry Kane, who controlled the ball and fired a low shot past Federico Dimarco into the corner of the net.
However, Bayern’s hopes were quickly dashed when Inter equalized in the 58th minute. A corner by Dimarco deflected off Joshua Kimmich, allowing Lautaro Martinez to capitalize and score.
Martinez quickly fired a powerful right-footed volley to level the score, reigniting Inter’s hopes of advancing. The goal gave Inter more motivation, and the second goal came soon after.
In the 61st minute, Benjamin Pavard scored against his former team. A corner from Hakan Calhanoglu found Pavard, who headed the ball past Yann Sommer, putting Inter ahead 2-1 and giving them a 4-2 aggregate lead.
The drama wasn’t over yet, as Bayern continued to push forward. A mistake by Yann Sommer in handling Eric Dier’s header led to another goal.
The English striker headed the ball over Sommer in the 76th minute, leveling the score at 2-2.
