Everton Fan Banned for Life for Stealing Food!
Everton has imposed a lifetime ban on one of its fans for stealing food during a club event.
Everton’s new stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock, is set to officially open next season. Prior to the opening, two test events with fans have been held at the stadium.
During the second event, 25,000 attendees witnessed Everton’s U-21 team secure a 1-0 victory over Bolton B. A third test event is planned for the coming months.
However, during the first test event in February, a fan filmed himself ordering food from a concession stand and then leaving without paying, proudly capturing the act on camera.
The video, shared on social media, shows the individual ordering food from a stand during the event.
After receiving his food, he orders coffee, and when the employee leaves to fetch it, the fan takes his meal and walks away without paying.
The club has now informed newspapers that the fan’s membership has been revoked, and he has donated an amount equivalent to the cost of the food (£12.75) to a charity.
Everton’s statement reads: “In line with the club’s strict policy against such behavior, this individual has been indefinitely banned from attending Everton matches, and his season ticket has been canceled. The club will continue to work with local authorities and event staff to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all visitors to Everton Stadium.”
