The Special One Reserves Summer Camp in Portugal
Fenerbahce Coach Not Needed: Mourinho Definitely Staying
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo confirmed Jose Mourinho’s continued collaboration with Fenerbahce.
According to reports, there has been a wave of rumors about Jose Mourinho’s future. Several English media outlets claim Mourinho will return to the Premier League, but Portuguese newspaper O Jogo revealed information indicating that The Special One will definitely remain as Fenerbahce’s head coach next season.
The report states that Mourinho has already arranged Fenerbahce’s summer training camp in Portugal, using facilities he has worked with before. O Jogo says Mourinho has rented a facility in Portugal, and Fenerbahce will hold their pre-season camp there this summer.
The newspaper claims Mourinho wants Fenerbahce to play several friendly matches in Portugal. He has decided that Fenerbahce will play a few easy matches and one challenging game. For this purpose, he has chosen Benfica and has already contacted the club’s management.
O Jogo reports that Jose Mourinho has requested a match between Fenerbahce and Benfica. The Special One told the Portuguese club that he wants Fenerbahce to face a Champions League-level team during their preparations, hence his choice of Benfica.
This report contradicts recent rumors suggesting Mourinho intends to return to England and take charge of his former club, Tottenham. Mourinho has previously stated that he loves all his former clubs but cannot feel the same way about Tottenham.
