Flick: The Journey to Victory Matters More Than the Trophy Itself
Hansi Flick, the head coach of Barcelona, claimed in a short interview before the match against Inter Milan that the way to victory is more important to him than the trophy itself.
According to reports, Hansi Flick, ahead of his team’s crucial match against Inter Milan in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, stated in an interview with Amazon Prime that winning trophies is not the only thing that matters to him and his team—the style of play is equally important.
Flick said in the interview: “For us, winning alone is not enough; doing it the right way holds greater significance. We have a well-defined philosophy and want to continue with it.
This season, many of our players have grown and helped us reach major milestones. After the winter break, we seemed even more united. Winning gives the team confidence, and now we truly believe in ourselves.”
Facing Inter Milan
We are well aware of their strength. They are an experienced team with players aged 36-37 who know this might be their last chance to reach the final, and they will undoubtedly give their all. Fortunately, the same applies to us, but it will still be a tough battle.
