Abdulkarim Al-Jasser, a former board member of Al-Hilal, expressed disappointment over the team’s recent 2-2 draw against Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League. The result allowed Al-Ittihad to take a 6-point lead at the top of the table.

Al-Jasser stated in a televised interview: “Al-Hilal is practically out of the title race, and this draw against Al-Shabab clearly shows that the team lacks the ability to win even easy matches.”

He blamed head coach Georges Jesus for the decline: “Jesus insists on sticking to his old tactics, which worked during the team’s peak, without considering the current situation.”

Al-Jasser criticized the team’s performance: “Al-Hilal is playing poorly, and I doubt they can overcome Guangzhou Evergrande in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals. They might even end the season without any trophies.”

Regarding Salem Al-Dawsari’s contract situation: “I don’t know why his renewal has been delayed. This issue needs to be resolved as soon as possible.”
