Speaking to Movistar, Gavi first commented on the team’s performance: “We played an outstanding game. I’m really happy to see players who haven’t played for a while back on the field. We played very well, and I’m very satisfied. I’m so happy for them because they’re like brothers to me, and they played exceptionally well.”

One reason Barcelona didn’t score more goals was the brilliant saves by Mallorca’s goalkeeper, Predrag Rajković. Gavi said: “Rajković had a great game. We had many chances, but it’s not always easy to score. That’s football. We kept pushing and scored. That’s how it is.”
