I’m Very Happy That Ronaldo Plays in the Saudi League
Bafétimbi Gomis, former Al-Hilal striker, described Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence in the Saudi Pro League as a very positive development.
According to “Varzesh3,” Bafétimbi Gomis, the former Al-Hilal striker who recently returned to Saudi Arabia to watch the final stages of the AFC Champions League, spoke to Al-Youm newspaper in support of his former team and praised Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance at Al-Nassr.
Gomis on the Al-Hilal vs. Al-Ahli match: “It will be a tough game because both teams are strong. I support my former club, and hopefully, they will win this match. I really wanted to participate in this game, and I’m happy to be back in Saudi Arabia to watch this exciting El Clásico up close.”
Gomis also commented on the other semi-final match between Al-Nassr and Kawasaki Frontale: “Al-Nassr will win against the Japanese representative because they have better players, and I hope the final will be between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.”
Gomis added about Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence at Al-Nassr: “Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world, and I’m very happy to see him in the Saudi League.”
