Hakimi: I Spoke with Dembélé, He’s Doing Well!
Achraf Hakimi, Paris Saint-Germain’s right-back, claimed that Ousmane Dembélé is in good condition and his injury is not too serious.
Paris Saint-Germain secured a 1-0 victory over Arsenal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, and now Luis Enrique’s squad is hopeful of reaching the final again, four years after their last appearance under Thomas Tuchel.
Achraf Hakimi, one of PSG’s best performers in the match, spoke to reporters after the game and first addressed Dembélé’s injury: “I saw him after the match, and he said he was fine, just a bit tired.”
“We did a great job, but it’s not over yet. We achieved an excellent result in the first leg, and the second leg in Paris remains. We must continue to improve in every game.
We know we shouldn’t rely solely on this win for the return leg; we must approach it with the same intensity and focus. Naturally, the second leg will be tougher than this match.”
Gonçalo Ramos, PSG’s striker, also spoke to reporters: “The job isn’t done yet; the return leg is still ahead. It’s important to give our all in every match. Fortunately, we delivered a high-level performance.”
João Neves also commented on his team’s valuable victory: “It’s not yet time to celebrate, but I’m very happy. If we continue with focus, we know we’ll be very close to advancing.
We can defend well and are excellent in attack when needed. That’s football—you have to know when to do what.”
