According to reports, the fight for fourth place in Serie A has completely transformed. Juventus has moved up to fourth, AS Roma has tied with Lazio in sixth, and now five teams are within three points of each other.

With only four matchdays remaining in the season, we are witnessing an extraordinary battle for European qualification, and the results of the 34th matchday brought many surprises.
Among the teams competing for the spot, Atalanta, Bologna, and Lazio all settled for draws against Lecce, Udinese, and Parma.
These results allowed Juventus to climb to fourth place, now just three points behind Atalanta in third.

Lazio was aware of the other teams’ results and could have overtaken Bologna with a win, moving to fifth place with 62 points. However, after trailing 2-0 against Parma, they barely managed a 2-2 draw.
As a result, AS Roma tied with Lazio (60 points) and, thanks to their head-to-head advantage, moved ahead in the standings.
In Serie A, when teams are tied on points, head-to-head results are the first tiebreaker, followed by goal difference if needed.

With four matchdays left, five teams are now within three points of each other. Next week, Juventus will face Bologna. Currently, Juventus (62 points), Bologna (61), AS Roma (60), Lazio (60), and Fiorentina (59) are competing for fourth place.
