Inter Milan’s Heavy Blow: Two Stars Suspended for Roma Clash!
Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Inter Milan’s key players, received yellow cards against Bologna and will miss the crucial upcoming match against AS Roma.
According to reports, Simone Inzaghi will be without two of his key players in the upcoming match against AS Roma, as Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are suspended.
This suspension comes after both players received yellow cards in today’s match against Bologna. Bastoni and Mkhitaryan had already accumulated four yellow cards before the match at the Dall’Ara Stadium. After receiving another yellow, both will have to watch the Roma match on April 26 from the stands.
Mkhitaryan received a yellow card in the 40th minute for pulling Jens Odgaard’s shirt, while Bastoni was booked shortly after the 60th minute for a rough challenge on Dan Ndoye in midfield.
However, both players will be available for the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against their arch-rivals AC Milan, which takes place this Wednesday. Their absence in the crucial Serie A match against Roma is particularly concerning for Simone Inzaghi, as Inter lost 1-0 to Bologna and are now level on points with Napoli in the Scudetto race.
