Happy for the Team
Inter Star’s Message to Barcelona: We Have No Limits!
Benjamin Pavard is delighted with Inter’s advancement to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
According to reports, Inter faced tough moments at San Siro against Bayern Munich after Harry Kane scored, but within nine minutes, everything changed with goals from Lautaro Martínez and Pavard. Eric Dier eventually leveled the game, but Inter secured their place in the semi-finals.
Interestingly, Pavard had never scored for Inter before and broke this curse against his former team. He told Amazon Prime Video Italy: “This goal was very exciting, I’m very happy, but above all, for the team, which defended really well and achieved something great. It wasn’t easy, but we knew it would be like this. We worked really hard for this result.”
Now, Inter will face Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals, with the first leg in Catalonia on April 30 and the return leg at San Siro on May 6. The Nerazzurri are still on track for a treble, leading Serie A and facing AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals next week.
Pavard added about the semi-finals: “We don’t set limits for ourselves because when we’ve come this far, we want to keep going. We have an excellent team with a fantastic squad that has been working very well for several years. The next step is to focus on Serie A because Napoli is also fighting with us for the Scudetto. The match against Bologna will be very tough, and we have to win there too.”
