Juventus Women defeated Milan 2-0 in the 24th matchday of Serie A, securing their sixth league title with two matchdays remaining. Unlike their male counterparts, who have struggled this season, the women’s team has been dominant from the start, maintaining their lead throughout the campaign.
Cristiana Girelli scored both goals for Juventus in today’s match against Milan, netting in the 45+1′ and 47′ minutes. Under the guidance of coach Max Canzi, the team now has 55 points, securing the title with a 13-point lead over Inter.
This marks the eighth edition of the Women’s Serie A, with Juventus winning six titles. The Bianconere claimed five consecutive titles from the league’s inception before Roma won the last two seasons. Now, Juventus have reclaimed the trophy for the sixth time.
