Kim Min-jae: Mistakes Due to Lack of Focus, Not Injury
Kim Min-jae claimed that injuries are not the reason for some of the mistakes made by him and other players, attributing them solely to a lack of concentration.
According to reports, although Kim Min-jae’s performance with Bayern Munich this season has been better than in previous years, fans still hope he becomes a more complete defender for the Bavarian club.
Interestingly, the South Korean international defender himself admits that his performances have not been ideal and believes he should not make excuses.
Kim Min-jae told Bild: “I am still suffering from an Achilles tendon injury and did not expect it to last this long, but I continue to play through the pain.
Whether due to injuries or the number of matches, mistakes certainly happen, but in my opinion, fatigue or injury should not be an excuse. If you make a mistake on the field, it’s because you lost focus.
Saying that mistakes happen because of too many games or injuries is just an excuse. You have to find a way to maintain focus and achieve victory, and most importantly, how you respond after making mistakes.”
Kim Min-jae has played in 27 Bundesliga matches for Bayern Munich this season, scoring two goals and receiving two yellow cards.
