Kyle Walker’s Return Completes a Good Week for Conte
Kyle Walker is ready to return to AC Milan’s lineup in Serie A after recovering from injury.
According to reports, Walker, who suffered an elbow fracture requiring surgery, was unable to assist AC Milan—where he joined on loan during the winter transfer window—during his recovery period.
He returned to training earlier this week and was close to featuring in Milan’s 3-0 victory over Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg on Wednesday but was ultimately not selected.
However, reports suggest that the 33-year-old is highly likely to rejoin the squad and could return to the starting lineup against Venezia in Serie A this Sunday.
Ricardo Sá Pinto (Conte) has almost all his players available, though one or two may still miss the match against Venezia. Emerson Royal remains absent due to a long-term calf injury, while Matteo Gabbia’s participation is uncertain after being substituted in the 60th minute of the Coppa Italia match against Inter.
