Manchester United Goalkeeper's Strange Message: We Will Come Back Stronger

According to “Varzesh3,” Bayındır replaced André Onana in goal for Manchester United during the match against Newcastle after the Cameroonian goalkeeper made costly mistakes in the 2-2 draw against Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2023, finally got the chance to make his Premier League debut, but it turned into a nightmare as he conceded four goals against Newcastle. He also made a costly error when the team was trailing 1-3; his weak clearance was intercepted by Joelinton, and seconds later, Bruno Guimarães scored the fourth goal at St James’ Park.

Manchester United fans on social media heavily criticized the poor performance of this 26-year-old goalkeeper. However, just hours after the match, the goalkeeper sent a message to the angry fans, asking them to have faith in the team.

Bayındır shared images from the match on his official Instagram page and wrote in the caption: “It was an honor to make my Premier League debut for this club. The result wasn’t what we wanted, but I will continue to fight and work hard. We will come back stronger; have faith in us.”
