Marcelo Brozović: Wherever I am, I must become a champion
The Croatian star of Al-Nassr says his team experienced a drop in performance during the second half of last night’s match.
Al-Nassr, as the third Saudi team, managed to secure their place in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League after defeating Yokohama F. Marinos 4-1. The team now awaits the result of the match between Al-Sadd and Kawasaki Frontale.
Marcelo Brozović, Al-Nassr’s player, who was named Man of the Match, said in the press conference: “We started the game well, especially in the first half. In the second half, we dropped a bit, but the most important thing was that we won and are ready for the next step.”
He added: “The margins are very small, and in every match, we must deliver our best performance. Victories will become harder. From the very beginning, we appeared strong and fought until the end.”
The Croatian star continued: “I love winning trophies wherever I play. My ultimate goal is to win these competitions, and our fans deserve this joy.”
Brozović concluded: “I hope the fans will support us passionately in the next match and stand by us with all their strength.”
