Mohamed Salah Warns Rivals: We Will Be Champions Again Next Season!
Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s forward, celebrated their Premier League title victory with a message and a warning to their rivals.
According to reports, with his future at Liverpool secured and their 20th Premier League title confirmed, Mohamed Salah is already looking ahead to next season.
The Reds secured their title with a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield, equaling Manchester United’s record of league titles and now trailing their historic rivals by just four trophies overall.
Two weeks ago, Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool, earning £500,000 per week, ensuring his stay for two more years. This deal ended widespread speculation about his future and reassured the fans.
After the title celebrations, Salah took to social media, sharing images from the Anfield festivities, and wrote: “This is what we wanted to give to our fans more than anything. This club must always fight for everything and be at the top. No excuses. All teams win games, but in the end, there’s only one champion—that’s what history remembers, and the same will apply next season.”
These remarks highlight Salah’s high motivation to continue winning; the star who currently leads the league in goals (28) and assists (18) this season.
This year’s title celebrations were different for Salah compared to his first triumph in 2020. Back then, matches were played behind closed doors due to the pandemic. This time, he experienced the joy alongside the fans—a joy that has now turned into a warning for their rivals.
