According to reports, Moussa Marega, the former Malian star of Al-Hilal, who currently plays for Al-Diriyah in the Saudi First Division, praised his former teammate Salem Al-Dawsari, calling him the best player in Asia.

Marega, after scoring the winning goal for his team against Al-Ola, said in a post-match interview: “We want to reach the Roshn League, and I thank the fans for their support. I really like this stadium, and a few years ago, I also scored here while wearing the Al-Hilal jersey.”

Marega also commented on the recent struggles of his former team: “Al-Hilal can return to the right path and win the AFC Champions League. In my opinion, Salem Al-Dawsari is the best player in Asia and can greatly help improve Al-Hilal’s situation.”

Marega, who has emerged as a potential candidate to join Iranian football, played 49 matches for Al-Hilal, scoring 18 goals. This season in the Saudi First Division, he has scored seven goals in 21 matches.
