Official: Kylian Mbappe Suspended for Only One Match
Kylian Mbappe, the Real Madrid forward, has been suspended for one match due to a violent foul on Antonio Blanco, the Alaves player.
According to reports, following Kylian Mbappe’s foul on Antonio Blanco, the disciplinary committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has suspended the French player for one match. As a result, Mbappe will miss Real Madrid’s match against Athletic Bilbao.
The referee’s report confirmed that the foul occurred during the match, so contrary to rumors, there was no possibility of the Real Madrid star being suspended for three matches. The disciplinary committee took this into account and imposed the minimum penalty on Mbappe.
This decision means Mbappe will be able to play in the Copa del Rey final. According to the referee’s report, the foul occurred during the match and was not considered a separate incident.
The RFEF disciplinary committee consists of María José García (president), Pablo Mayor Méndez, and Francisco Rubio (members). Alberto Pláiz and Rosa Rodríguez are alternate members.
Manu Sánchez, the Alaves player, was also sent off for a foul on Vinícius in the same match and received a one-match suspension.
