The season has ended for Paulo Dybala, who will be sidelined for at least three months.

However, he had the opportunity to activate the automatic contract extension clause with Roma, extending his deal until 2026. Regarding his future, Dybala spoke about his plans in an interview with the program ‘Los Edul,’ hosted by Gaston Edul, a journalist for TyC Sports.

Dybala grew up at Instituto in Córdoba, where he was prepared for Europe: “I know Instituto fans want me to return; it’s a club that means a lot to me because my professional journey started there, and it helped me reach Europe.”

The Roma player also spoke about his emotional connection with Boca Juniors, despite never having played for the club: “My father was a Boca fan, and we were three brothers. Two of my brothers supported Independiente and River Plate. I was the youngest, and he took me everywhere. Then, at age 10, I joined Instituto and became more of an Instituto fan. But when Boca played against teams from Córdoba, we always went to the stadium.”

“Fans call me. It’s great because I’ve never been to Boca’s stadium to watch a match. In fact, when I was talking to Leandro Paredes about vacations… Boca was playing its first match in Miami, and he wanted me to stay and go with him to watch the game.”

When asked about the possibility of returning to Argentina, the former Juventus player did not rule it out: “I don’t know if I’ll play there one day, but I’d really love to play in Argentina. I still don’t know what will happen. Paredes pressures me every day to join Boca Juniors. The truth is, as I said, I’d love to play in Argentina, and I really think about it every day.”
