You can’t relax for a moment
Please tell Inzaghi nothing is over yet!
Fabio Galante, former Inter defender, has a strong opinion about tomorrow night’s UEFA Champions League match between Inter and Bayern Munich.
According to “Varzesh3,” Galante commented on the optimism about advancing after the 2-1 away victory: “No, not at all, I should even say noooooo with a lot of ‘o’s! Please write that.”
He believes Inter should not consider themselves already in the semi-finals given the opponent’s strength. Galante told Tuttosport about tomorrow’s match at San Siro: “We cannot relax. Bayern knows they can turn the result around, and Inzaghi and his players should be well aware of that.”
He pointed to the exciting duel between Lautaro Martinez and Harry Kane in the attack: “Lautaro won the first half of this duel. He scored a fantastic goal and had a great game. Kane, however, shook the crossbar. These two strikers are valuable to any team in the world. Tomorrow, they will play a key role because both are players their teams rely on in crucial moments.”
But how can such stars be contained?
Galante explained: “You can’t teach much to players like Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni, De Vrij, and Bisseck. They are all experienced and have played many games. But when you face a striker like Kane, or even Lautaro, you must stay fully focused throughout the game. A moment of distraction, and the opponent can hurt you. I don’t see this as a direct duel. Containing attackers requires teamwork, with midfielders preventing easy passes. It needs double coverage and teamwork. When you play against the best, you have to work as a team.”
