According to “Varzesh3”, Riyad Mahrez, the Algerian star of Al-Ahli, repeated his best performance in terms of goal contributions during the match against Al-Fayha in the Saudi Professional League.

Mahrez scored one goal and provided three assists in the 28th week of the Saudi Professional League at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, leading Al-Ahli to a 5-0 victory over Al-Fayha. This marked the highest number of goal contributions in a single match in his club career, equaling his best performance for the Algerian national team.

The only match in which Mahrez contributed to four goals was on March 25, 2016, when he provided four assists in Algeria’s 7-1 victory over Ethiopia in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Excluding that match, Mahrez had never contributed to more than three goals in a single game, but he has done so 14 times (7 times with Manchester City, 4 times with Algeria, 2 times with Leicester City, and once with Le Havre).
