According to reports, the 32-year-old Salah extended his contract with Liverpool for another two years this week, ending months of speculation and rumors about his potential departure.

Keane told Sky Sports: “There’s no doubt Salah is a great role model for young players. We see him performing brilliantly week after week, scoring goals and providing assists.”

“If you put him in Arsenal, they would have won the league this year. That shows Salah’s level. I’m somewhat happy Liverpool managed to finalize this deal because you want to see the best players in the Premier League.”

“It was only a matter of time before they reached an agreement on the contract extension. I think Salah deserves this deal; he’s a special player, undoubtedly professional and top-class. When discussing club changes, their goals, and not renewing some players’ contracts, it must be said that every player has their own situation.”

Roy Keane concluded: “We’ve seen Salah in many interviews; he’s a true professional, very meticulous about fitness, and does his job perfectly. That’s why they had to renew his contract. They couldn’t let him leave for free.”
