Split in Real Madrid's Locker Room: No One Likes Vinícius!

According to reports, after Real Madrid’s 2-1 defeat in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal and their elimination from the competition, the defending champions are in crisis. Now, even Vinícius Júnior, the Brazilian star of the team, is under criticism.

Spanish outlet ‘Don Balón’ reports that Vinícius has become a serious problem within Real Madrid. The media claims that five key players are tired of his behavior and no longer communicate with him. These players are: Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Dani Ceballos, and Luka Modrić. The report states: “Vinícius has become an unpopular figure among his teammates, and only the Brazilian players still support him.”

Despite these controversies, Vinícius’ technical performance has not been poor. This season, he has scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in 45 official matches. However, criticism of him continues, and some believe his time at Real Madrid may end this summer.

    Saudi Offer and Possible Departure

Rumors about Vinícius’ departure have been circulating for some time, especially from the Saudi Pro League, which is keen on signing the 24-year-old star. According to Spanish media, while Real Madrid officially opposes selling the player, they have set a price tag of around €300 million.

Reports indicate that Saudi clubs are ready to pay this astronomical fee. Vinícius’ contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2027.

Currently, Real Madrid is under immense pressure. After their Champions League elimination, the season has turned into a near-disaster for the club. The only possible redemption lies in winning the Copa del Rey (final on April 26 against Barcelona) and La Liga. At the moment, Real Madrid are second in the league table, four points behind Barcelona.
