According to reports, a week after the official announcement of Thomas Müller’s departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the season by Max Eberl, clubs interested in the 35-year-old Bavarian star are emerging one after another. Now, Turkish media reports indicate Fenerbahçe’s interest in Bayern Munich’s number 25 forward.

As per Sporx, Fenerbahçe is one of the clubs keen on signing Müller this summer, and José Mourinho is eager to utilize the experience and leadership of the former German national team star, especially given the potential departures of Edin Džeko and Dušan Tadić.

Tadić has scored 11 goals and provided 15 assists this season, while Džeko has netted 9 goals and made 7 assists. The possible departure of these two forwards has led Mourinho to consider signing the experienced Müller.

Fenerbahçe is expected to offer Müller a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension for a second year based on his performance and mutual agreement.

Müller has been with Bayern Munich since 2008, making 497 appearances and scoring 150 goals during his time with the Bavarian giants.
