Three Clubs Inquire About Kim Min-jae
Unpopular Bayern Defender in High Demand!
German newspaper Bild claims that three clubs – Chelsea, Newcastle, and Juventus – have contacted Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of Kim Min-jae.
While Bayern Munich fans are angry with their Korean defender Kim Min-jae, particularly blaming him for Bayern’s elimination against Inter in the Champions League, Bild reports that contrary to Bavarians’ opinion, this defender already has many suitors.
Kim Min-jae’s poor performance for Bayern has led many to see him on the club’s exit list. Min-jae joined Bayern from Napoli two years ago but has failed to meet expectations.
Kim Min-jae has a long-term contract with Bayern until 2028. However, Bild reports that Bayern officials had previously told the Korean defender that if a good offer came in, they would sell him.
The report continues that three European clubs have already contacted Bayern to inquire about Kim Min-jae’s conditions – two Premier League clubs and one historic Serie A club.
Bild identified these three clubs as Chelsea, Newcastle, and Juventus. The note adds that Kim Min-jae personally prefers playing in the Premier League, making his move to either Chelsea or Newcastle more likely.
