According to reports, in the most crucial match of the 21st round of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Qadisiyah will host Al-Nassr at home. Given Al-Ittihad’s loss the previous day and Al-Hilal’s victory, this match holds significant importance for Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates.

Interestingly, the Saudi Football Federation announced the referees for tonight’s matches, assigning this high-stakes game to Szymon Marciniak, the well-known Polish referee who has officiated numerous UEFA Champions League matches this season.

Marciniak also refereed the thrilling 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and France, which ended with Argentina’s victory on penalties.

The 44-year-old referee has officiated 32 matches in the Saudi Pro League since 2015, most recently three months ago in the match between Al-Ahli and Al-Shabab, which ended 3-2 in favor of Al-Ahli.

He has officiated five matches involving Al-Nassr so far, resulting in three wins, one draw, and one loss for Stefano Pioli’s squad.
