Yokohama F. Marinos Bring Japan National Team Chef to Saudi Arabia
Yokohama F. Marinos, Al-Nassr’s opponents, have traveled to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, accompanied by the chef of the Japan national team.
According to reports, Yokohama F. Marinos of Japan has transported a large quantity of food supplies to Jeddah to ensure proper meals for their players. Additionally, a dedicated chef is accompanying the team.
On this trip, “Nishi,” a renowned and experienced chef who has long served as the exclusive chef for the Japan national football team in various competitions, is supporting Yokohama’s squad.
The official account of Yokohama F. Marinos on platform ‘X’ posted: “We have a special guest on this trip to Saudi Arabia—Chef Nishi, who has extensive experience as part of the Japan national football team. Dear Nishi, thank you for your support, from assisting the players to managing meal plans and preparing authentic Japanese cuisine.”
The Yokohama F. Marinos delegation arrived in Jeddah on Tuesday to prepare for the final stage of the 2025 Asian Elite League. The team is scheduled to face Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia on April 26 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal City Stadium.
The final stage of this edition of the AFC Champions League, which is the first version of the Asian Elite League, will be held in Jeddah.
The quarter-final matches will take place from April 25 to 27, the semi-finals on April 29 and 30, and the final on May 4 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
