Only for €3.5 Million
AC Milan’s Plan: Request for Man City Star Kyle Walker at a Discount
AC Milan’s management has asked Manchester City to reduce their asking price for Kyle Walker.
According to reports, Walker moved to San Siro during the January transfer window, ending his time at Manchester City and the Etihad Stadium. It was expected that the player, who has won the Premier League and Champions League, would remain in Italy after the 2024-25 season.
The agreement that brought the player to AC Milan included a permanent purchase option, with Manchester City reportedly asking for around €5 million for his transfer. However, it seems even this amount is beyond the financial reach of the Rossoneri, and they are seeking further negotiations.
Sources close to the club have told Milan Live that the Serie A giants are looking to pay only €3.5 million to sign Walker. It is said they are confident Manchester City will agree to these terms, as the club has already begun identifying new options for the right-back position.
Sergio Conceição is ready to use Walker as one of his key players next season alongside the likes of Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leão, although his start in Italy was not particularly bright due to unexpected injuries. However, the Milan coach has full confidence in the player.
