Al Nassr considers selling Cristiano Ronaldo’s closest friend!
Marcelo Brozovic has been placed on Al Nassr’s transfer list and is likely to leave the club this summer.
According to reports, Al Nassr’s disastrous season is likely to end with them finishing third in the Saudi Pro League. After this, the club’s management is expected to make major changes, including restructuring the technical staff and transferring foreign players to return to better days next season.
In this regard, the newspaper Al-Riyadiah claimed that Al Nassr is considering selling Marcelo Brozovic, the team’s prominent Croatian midfielder, this summer to make room for a new foreign signing.
The newspaper stated that the reason for this decision is to sign a younger player who can contribute more in both offensive and defensive phases.
Interestingly, Brozovic is one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s closest friends at Al Nassr, and the Portuguese captain had previously advised the club’s management to prevent his potential departure.
It is worth noting that the 33-year-old Brozovic has played 39 matches for Al Nassr this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
