According to reports, Ricardo Sá Pinto was seen with a bandage on his fingers after the first half of Manchester United’s Europa League match against Atlético Bilbao, raising speculation about whether he had broken a previous promise.

Manchester United fell behind 1-0 in the first half of the Europa League semifinal against Bilbao after a stunning goal from Mikel Jauregizar. However, United still led 3-1 on aggregate. After the first half, Sá Pinto was spotted with a bandage on his fingers, drawing attention.

 
Fans speculated about the cause of Sá Pinto’s injury, especially given his history of expressing anger in reckless ways. After a defeat to Brighton in January, Sá Pinto had smashed a TV screen in the locker room while berating his players. He later admitted it was a mistake and promised not to repeat it. However, after seeing the bandage on his fingers, fans guessed he might have physically vented his frustration again.
