According to reports, Ancelotti has had a busy week. Several Italian and Spanish media outlets previously claimed that the Real Madrid head coach was close to signing a contract with the Brazil national team but ultimately halted negotiations.

Now, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Ancelotti is angry because representatives of the Brazilian Football Confederation have allegedly provided incorrect information to the media. He has threatened to definitively reject their offer if these rumors do not stop.

Additionally, Ancelotti did not want to create an uncomfortable and ambiguous situation with Real Madrid, as he still has one year left on his contract. According to the same report, Ancelotti held a meeting with the club’s management and Florentino Pérez this week to clarify his position.

Although several sources believe Real Madrid has already decided to change managers in the summer, no agreement has been reached yet regarding an early termination of his contract, which runs until June 2026.
