Barcelona’s Weakest Players Shine in the Second Half
Barcelona’s second goal against Inter came from a brilliant cross by Gerard Martin and a header by Dani Olmo in the second half.
According to reports, Barcelona’s attacking display in the second half against Inter Milan paid off, as they equalized within six minutes, mirroring the first-leg scenario.
While Eric Garcia scored Barcelona’s first goal in the 54th minute to reignite the match’s intensity, Dani Olmo, who had been underwhelming in the first half, capitalized on Gerard Martin’s precise cross just six minutes later to level the score.
Inter’s crowded defense forced Barcelona to rely on long crosses, and Martin’s pinpoint delivery found Olmo, who headed it past Yann Sommer for the equalizer.
Interestingly, Olmo, who was one of Barcelona’s weakest performers in the first half, redeemed himself with this crucial goal—his second in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
