Bayern Munich Interested in Signing Patrik Schick!
Bayern Munich, in addition to Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Tah, is looking to sign Patrik Schick from Bayer Leverkusen in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to reports, while German media have long considered Florian Wirtz as one of Bayern Munich’s primary targets in the summer transfer window, the young attacking star of Bayer Leverkusen is not the only offensive player desired by the Bavarians from Xabi Alonso’s squad.
According to Bild, in addition to Wirtz, Jonathan Tah and Patrik Schick have also caught the attention of Bayern Munich’s management. It is reported that Vincent Kompany sees Patrik Schick as a reliable backup for Harry Kane.
The Czech striker has been playing for Bayer Leverkusen since the summer of 2020 and still has two years left on his contract. However, his recent bench role may lead to Schick’s departure in the summer.
Bild claims Patrik Schick could leave for €25 million, but it remains unclear whether Bayer Leverkusen intends to sell Wirtz and Schick to their main rivals in the Bundesliga title race. Additionally, Jonathan Tah’s contract expires in June, meaning he will face no obstacles in leaving Leverkusen at the end of the season.
It is worth noting that Schick has scored 19 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen this season but has recently become a bench player under Xabi Alonso.
