After the match, Minnesota United’s official Instagram page posted a celebratory image of their players with the caption “Fake Pink Club,” a clear jab at Beckham’s team and their pink uniforms. This phrase also played on the title of a popular song by Chappell Roan.

Beckham’s response was swift and sharp. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star replied to the post, writing, “Show some respect. Be gracious in victory.”
