According to reports, Šeško has had an outstanding season in the Bundesliga, sparking speculation about his potential departure from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.

Sky Sport Germany reports that the Slovenian striker has a performance-based release clause in his contract, currently valuing him at over €80 million. However, his departure is possible even without activating this clause, with Leipzig likely demanding a higher fee and a different payment structure.

The report states that interested clubs may need to pay €75 million upfront, with an additional €15 million in performance-based bonuses, bringing the total transfer fee to €90 million.

English clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle have all been named as serious suitors for the young striker, as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the 2025-26 season. Šeško has scored 21 goals and provided six assists in all competitions for Leipzig this season, impressive numbers in what has otherwise been a disappointing campaign for the German side.

The 21-year-old Slovenian is expected to improve further in the coming years. Notably, Bayern Munich, who conceded only two goals in the first 15 minutes of Bundesliga matches this season, both came from Šeško in Leipzig’s fixture against them.
