According to reports, Dominik Szoboszlai praised his Egyptian teammate Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer, claiming that Salah shares a key trait with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah leads the Premier League scoring charts this season with 28 goals and also tops the assists table with 18.

Szoboszlai told Liverpool’s official website: “I’m really close to Salah. I feel like he breaks a new record every week, and it’s unbelievable.

I think Ronaldo once said that he doesn’t chase records, records chase him. Now I think Salah can say the same because he sets a new record almost every week.

Many players in our team have had a big role this season, but yes, Salah is definitely one of them, and we’re happy he’ll stay with us next season.”

The 32-year-old Salah has scored 244 goals for Liverpool in all competitions, with 183 of them coming in the Premier League.

In addition to two Premier League titles, Salah has won three Golden Boots and one Playmaker Award and is on course to win both again this season.
