According to reports, less than two months remain until the start of the exciting Club World Cup in the United States. One of the main concerns for national team coaches is the tournament’s overlap with FIFA’s June window.

In this regard, Thomas Tuchel has expressed serious concerns due to the high number of English stars participating in the Club World Cup with clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich. He is set to hold a meeting with the English Football Association to discuss player call-ups.

The Club World Cup will run from June 14 to July 13, coinciding with FIFA’s June window. England is scheduled to face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier and play a friendly against Senegal during this period.

Reports suggest Tuchel intends to call up half of the national team players from clubs participating in the Club World Cup, with discussions underway to finalize the selection.

This decision could impact 12 England stars, including Cole Palmer, Reece James, Levi Colwill, and Noni Madueke from Chelsea, as well as Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, who may miss key stages of the Club World Cup.
